The Crew
The crew of Language Matters are based in central London. Tough Mudder gave them the opportunity to raise money for charity Mind. At the end of the race, the team had raise roughly £1200 for the charity!
It's Tough!
Tough Mudder challenged the crews strength and endurance to new levels. Dripping with mud, water, sweat and bugs they had to run 10 miles and complete 24 obstacles in temperatures of 20 degrees Celsius.
It's Challenging!
The crew faced challenges of crawling under barb wire while being sprayed with water. They had to focus, problem solves and work together to navigate rotating barrels in water and climb immensely steep slopes. They become gladiators to swing and climb through various shapes, sizes of monkey bars.
It's Psychological!
The obstacles challenged the crews deepest fears. Heights! Falling backwards into water! Claustrophobic spaces! The Ice Bath..... Sliding into freezing cold water, they had to go against their natural instincts of staying still to dive under a barrier, swim through the ice and climb out the other side.
It's Fun!
With great challenges, comes great fun! The crew certainly managed to have fun too and despite one member needing a leg cast on during the trip home, they would all do it again!
